​Dr. Deeksha Sharma, founder of Enso Life- Neuro art, is a 4-time TEDx speaker focusing on Emotional Intelligence (EI) and mental well-being. She has research experience in emotions of more than 10 years as a postdoctoral fellow at Cornell University USA and Ph.D. in Emotional Intelligence from the Indian Institute of Technology, India. She has an MBA degree in Human Resource with engineering undergraduate degree. Dr. Sharma is the author of a Book Chapter in Springer Nature - "Emotions at Work''. She has published many papers in the Springer (Emotional Intelligence and Brain Laterality at the Workplace), the Medlink Neurology (Transient Global Amnesia), Sage (EI and smoking behavior in young adults) and many more. Currently, she is working on another book on Emotional Intelligence. Dr. Sharma was part of WE Cornell, a women's entrepreneurial club at Cornell, and was also part of the Cornell Multicultural Academic Counseling mentoring program- counseling and guiding Ph.D. students. She was a co-guide to a master student in her thesis on EI in the American workplace and also mentored an International undergraduate student from Australia as an intern. She worked on developing games for mental wellbeing and building a new EI model by collecting data from countries- USA, Australia, Canada, Israel, Dubai, and India. Her previous projects at Cornell include administering fMRI study for valence and arousal of emotions. She was also selected for the Cornell postdoctoral leadership program and Cornell Faculty Fellow for Engaged scholarship.  She curated graduate students' well-being sessions at Cornell in GradSWE. Also, she hosted a podcast, ‘Student of the World,’ to communicate with students from different countries and understand how they are evolving regarding emotional health. Another initiative of hers is ‘Hearts and Minds’ which focuses on creating awareness among students about mental health.  She was the judge at the synaptic hack event by SimplyNeuroscience and she was also invited as judge for poster competition at Cornell diversity program diversity ULSAMP conference. Her initiative, Enso Life- Neuro Art is a Meditative experience platform with art, sound, and texture therapy to rewire and train a mind. She curates sessions and events for start-ups, corporate firms and academic institutes for organizational behavior, emotional wellbeing and emotional intelligence.
